Almost black and white art journal / Art by Marlene

 

Heips!

You maybe know that I like make some black-white project with stamps and masking. So now I want to use lovely stamp set "Night" and "Camel Travel". I stamp many time different houses on background and on masking paper. I cut out houses on masking paper and glue them on top of houses - layers after layers. There is few photos step by step.

Then I put one layer of transparent gesso and dry page.

Then I start color page only with black pen.

After all I coloring windows with yellow and heart with red <3

Big and Small - Art Grupa Art Journal

 

Hello!

I made this art journal page a long time ago.  Art Grupa Art Journal challenge on July is "BIG and SMALL". This is just made for that challenge!

. I was got just that lovely mask from Art by Marlene (MASKBM07). So I just see that on background of my art journal page. I used gelli plate, paint and page of art journal book by Marlene. 

After gelli plate press I doodled those lines with black markers. Stamping more details with Exlusive Textures stamps (STAMPBM47) inside big butterfly. Then I stamp a cute small butterfly (STAMPBM49) and coloring that with watercolors (WCBM02)

I stamp tittle on page, doodling outlines and attach small butterfly on big butterfly with stapler.

I feel that this art journal page is quite successful!

Camel at night - ARTSY ARABIA

  

Hello my crafty friends!

There is my first project with ARTSY ARABIA and ESSENTIALS collections with Art by Marlene. I really like the visual look and feel of these products a lot.

 First I made that background with watercolors. New Metallic semi moist watercolor paint (WCBM03) is just perfect to make night atmosphere.  Then I draw some hills with another watercolors of Art by Marlene. This watercolors palet is Whimsy & Bright (WCBM02).

Then I stamp that so cute camel on watercolor paper (STAMPBM60). I colored it with watercolors of Art by Marlene. I used both older palet (WCBM01 and WCBM02). This is first time when I coloring with watercolors only with real brush. Usually I used a tank brush, but now I try learn new. After coloring I cut out that camel.

I took warm yellow cardstock and used love moon and stars dies from STENCILBM09, First I make some splatters with white paintpen. When splatters is dry, then I glue a camel, stars and moon on background. I'm looking for suitable text from StickyQuotes (STICKERBM03). Last touch I made with white and black gel pens. I draw lines on edge on page and stickers.

Lovely fresh shades, more patterns with the stencil 

and Art by Marlene's wonderful stamp.

I colored this girl with ZIG pens.

Then more details with textures stamps.

And lovely sticker from book.

They create a fresh page and a good mood.

Hello!

I cut some pages with Marlene´s awesome Cutting Die set. I made a small art journal book just for Marlene´s inspirations. Then I coloring some basic colors with Dina Wakley Glossy Sprays on backgrounds. Now I have so many half ready pages for cute and so funny art journal pages.

This is one of this book.

I just stamping those small house landscape on page. Then I stamped it on white

mix media cardstock so many times. Then I cut those out. Then I glue landscapes on page.

I made some lines without just direct line.

I stamp those cute sun on background and white cardstock.

I colored that sun with watercolor.

Then I cut out image and clue on sun.

I took black watercolor and made some shades on house landscape.

I glue couple text stickers from Marlene´s stickerbook.

I doodling lines on pages and make some white splatters.

It is ready.

It make me happy - still <3

Hellou!

Minun silmä lepää ja tykkää valtavasti mustavalkoisista töistä. 

Kun tein Nannalle tilauksen näistä isoista ja upeita Pink Ink Designs leimoita niin näin ne esisijaisesti art journal sivuilla. Ja tämä "elephantastic" leimasinsetin kohdalla mustavalkoisen sivun teossa. 

Tein tämän sivun art journal kirjaan. Leimattu kaikki VersaFine Clair musteella. 

Teksti leimattu Feed Your Craft leimasinsetillä "aster alphabet". Pieniä taikoja välissä. 

Työ on värjätty vain ja ainostaan Stabilo all kynällä. 

Viimeistelty valkoisella maalikynällä tehdyillä roiskeilla. Teksti korostettu Gelly Roll kynällä.

#3 GDT Art by Marlene

Hello!!

There is my 3rd project with Art by Marlene GO DUTCH Collection.  I made my art journal page on GO DUTCH art journal book. 

I coloring background with pigment powder from Fabrika Decoru (Magic paint). After that I little bit stamping mixed media style on background. Then I stamping lot of images on watercolor paper. I colored all images with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush.

After that I fussy cutting all images and start planning my page. Then I stamping some images direct to background (sun and windmill). After that I start clue all images on page. Then I note that I need more images.... so I took Marlene´s Diecuts books and took few images more on page.

Then I glue Marlene´s stickers and drawing frames on page. Now it is ready.

#1 GDT with Art by Marlene

Hello!!

I´m so excited. Art by Marlene had a great challenge on Instagram, where you can express your interest in becoming GDT with Go Ducth edition. I got a happy news that I´m one of five, how she was pick! I got amazing package what include those GO DUTCH edition product.

Olen innoistani. Art by Marlene´lla oli haaste Instagramissa, jossa voit ilmaista halukkuutesi GDT tehtävään Go Ducth malliston kera. Minä sain iloisia uutisia kun olin yksi viidestä, jotka Marlene oli valinnut. Sain upean paketin Go Ducth malliston tuotteita. 

My first project is art journal page on amazing Go Dutch - art journal. I colored background with Dina Wakley Media Gloss Spray and lovely stencil from Art by Marlene. Then I took small piece of
tracing paper and colored that too with Gloss Spray and different stencil from Marlene. 

Then I stamping awesome great windows, girl, text and tulips with Go Dutch stampsets. I colored those with Zig Clean Color real Brush pens. After that I cut out all stamp images. Then I use stamps by another Marlenes stampsets and my stash on background. Ink is Arhival ink Jet Black. 

I put a couple of clips of wahi tapet of Go Dutch on background. Then I stamp white paint with my old stash stamp. Then I glue my windows with another imagines. Behind of windows I put my yellow tracing paper. I stamping the one text of Go Dutch. Last details is stickers for Markeles Sticker book.
Last touch is white splatters with paint.


Minun ensimmäinen projekti on art journal aukema uuteen Go Dutch art journal book. Väritin sivun taustan käyttämällä Dinan Gloss Spray värejä. Apuna käytin Marlenen sapluunaa. Otin myös pienen palan kaavapaperia ja värjäsin sen keltaisella Gloss Sprayllä ja Marlenen sapluunalla. 

Tämän jälkeen leimasin upean ikkunan, tytön, tekstin ja tulppaanit Go Dutch leimaseteistä. Väritin kuvat Zig tusseilla. Tämän jälkeen leikkasin leimakuvat irti. Käytin taustalle leimaamiseen muuta Markelen malliston leimoja sekä varastostani leimasimia. Musteena Archival ink Jet black

Laitan pohjalle pari pätkää washi teippiä Go Dutch mallistosta. Leimasin varastosta ottamallani leimalla valkoista maalia taustalle. Liimasin ikkunat kuvaan, ja niihin nämä muut leimatut hahmot. Ikkunien taakse olin liimannut keltaiseksi värjättyä kaavapaperia. Yhteen ikkunaan leimasin kaavapaperille suoraan tekstin. Lopuksi lisäsin vielä tekstitarraan Marlenen tarra-vihkosta. Lopuksi hieman valkoisia roiskeita sivulle.
