GOOD FOR THE CREATIVE SOUL CHALLENGE – THINK PINK

Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew received challenge again! The challenge was this time at Think PInk - the honor of the breast cancer project in October. As Breast Cancer awareness month so the crew needed to create monochromatic pink.  My inspiration came from that wonderful picture of the flower I took on a summer holiday in Kokkola. 

I chose three different types of paper from the 7gypsies range and left them to build the frame of the page. The two lower layers were treated with a clear gesso so that they could be colored freely with mists. I wrinkled and crumpled the papers before glue. Layered stamping in abundance. When the papers were glued, I bled the stunning Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Baseboard colors with a brush on the side. Pink and lilac hues on many floors.

 Behind the picture, I made a backdrop for the fabric, which brings a wonderful roughness to the whole. From the picture I spread the rope towards the edges in a wavy form. I fastened the rope with the stapler. Finally, I glued a page of different paper flowers in different shades. The last detail was to add the text to the page.

Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew sai taas haasteen! Haaste oli tällä kerralla Think PInk - lokakuun rintasyöpäprojektin kunniaksi.  Tavoitteena oli tehdä mahdollisimman pinkki työ. Minun inspiraationi lähti tuosta upeasta kuvasta kukkasesta, jonka otin kesälomareissulla Kokkolassa.

Valitsin kolme erilaista paperia 7gypsies valikoimasta ja lähdin niistä rakentamaan sivun runkoa. Kaksi alinta kerrosta käsittelin kirkkaalla gessolla, jotta voi niitä värittää vapaasti suihkeilla. Rypisten ja rutistelin papereita ennen kiinnitystä. Kerroksellista leimaamista runsaasti. Kun paperit oli kiinnitetty paikalleen, niin leivitin upeita Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist ja Baseboard värejä siveltimellä sivulle. Valutuksia sopivasti. Pinkin ja lilan sävyjä monessa kerroksessa. 

Kuvan taakse tein kankaasta taustan joka tuo kokonaisuuteen ihanaa rosoisuutta. Kuvasta levitin köyttä kohti reunoja aaltomaisessa muodossa. Kiinnitin köyden nitojalla. Lopuksi liimasin sivulle muhkeasti erilaisia paperikukkia eri sävyissä. Viimeinen yksityiskohta oli tekstin lisääminen sivuun.
